Guided by principles of accessibility, inclusion, and industry engagement, the Excelerator Program plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of emerging leaders in the sports and fitness sector. SFIA Member organizations select Associates for hands-on training that builds leadership skills, expands industry networks, and strengthens career development.
SFIA’s Excelerator Program started in 2023 and represents SFIA’s (and the industry’s) commitment to accelerating the careers of exceptional early-career professionals from diverse communities in the sports industry and empowering them to become the next generation of leaders.
SFIA VetsExcel program
A career transition program designed specifically for military veterans entering the sports and fitness industry.
VetsEXCEL is a new SFIA Career Transition Program administered by SFIA and a hand-selected leadership committee providing strategic oversight and operational guidance. Built on SFIA’s successful Excelerator Program model, VetsEXCEL adapts proven professional development approaches for veteran career transitions.
SFIA offers an incredible opportunity for military veterans to transition their leadership skills, discipline, and teamwork experience into rewarding civilian careers in the sports and fitness industry.
